Deal Check (dealcheck.projectlists.co.uk) is a trading name of JAGAT IT UK LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17474995 ("we", "us", "our"). Our registered office address, which UK law (Companies (Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2008 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) requires us to give, is 164 High Street, St Albans, AL2 1QF. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on our prices.
These terms apply when you use this website and when you buy a report from us. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order you confirm you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be 18 or over and resident in the UK to buy a report. We may update these terms; the version on the site when you order applies to that order.
A report ("Report") is digital content about one used vehicle, built from the advert link, and where given the registration number and postcode, that you provide. It may include: a fair market value comparison and our verdict (good deal, fair price or overpriced), average days to sell, the vehicle's historic dealer listings, previous adverts with prices, mileage, descriptions and photographs where available.
Reports are compiled automatically from third-party data supplied to us through One Auto API Ltd, including Marketcheck and Cazana. We do not inspect vehicles and do not verify adverts.
A Report is information to help you decide; it is not a valuation certificate, an inspection, a vehicle history (HPI) check, financial advice or a guarantee of a vehicle's condition, history or value.
Each Report costs £2.99, shown before you pay. Payment is taken in full at checkout by Stripe Payments UK Ltd by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We never see or store your full card details.
Our contract with you is formed when payment is confirmed and the Report is supplied (or we tell you it cannot be).
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract made online. Reports are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. Before paying, you ask us to supply the Report immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once supply has begun. Supply begins when we start retrieving data after payment.
This does not affect your rights under clause 6 if the Report is faulty.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a Report is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or if that is not possible or not done within a reasonable time, a refund (in whole or part).
Automatic refund: if we cannot identify the vehicle from your link (and any registration you give), or cannot obtain a market value for it, we refund you in full automatically to the original payment method. Refunds usually reach your account within 5 to 10 working days.
Data limits are not faults: market values are statistical estimates and advert history depends on what was publicly listed and captured by our suppliers. A Report that correctly shows the data available, including that no previous adverts were found, is supplied as described.
To raise a problem, email support@jagatitlimited.com with your report link. We aim to reply within 2 working days.
We obtain data from reputable suppliers but cannot guarantee it is complete, current or error free. Adverts may be withdrawn, edited or mis-describe a vehicle; prices and mileage shown are as advertised at the time captured. Always inspect the vehicle, check documents and, where appropriate, obtain an independent inspection and a full history check before you buy.
The site design, text, software and Report format belong to JAGAT IT UK LTD or its licensors. Third-party data remains the property of the relevant supplier and is licensed to us; you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to view and keep your Report.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
We supply Reports for private use only. We are not liable for business losses (loss of profit, business, or opportunity).
Subject to the above, because a Report is low-cost information and the buying decision is yours, our total liability in connection with any Report is limited to the price you paid for it (£2.99) together with any losses you can show were directly caused by our breach and were reasonably foreseeable, up to a maximum of £100.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supplier or payment network outages.
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or withdraw the service, or change Report content, where reasonably necessary. Report links are kept for at least 12 months.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation.
If any clause is found unlawful, the rest remain in force. Only you and we have rights under these terms; no third party may enforce them. If we delay enforcing a term, we may still enforce it later.
